Professor Sternstein is the Director of the IP Clinic at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, and also teaches Patent Law and Patent Litigation. He has broad experience in Intellectual Property with 40 years in private practice and with particular emphasis in patent litigation, licensing and client counseling. Professor Sternstein has tried IP cases before the International Trade Commission and in federal courts across the country, including one case in which he presented before the jury and obtained a record-setting patent damages award of more than $100 million. He also has argued before state and federal courts of appeal, including the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Professor Sternstein has been recognized and listed in The Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Illinois Leading Lawyer, and Illinois Super Lawyer in Intellectual Property. He has taught classes and lectured on patent litigation at numerous institutions and programs, including at the University of Illinois and Oxford University.
