Our alumni -- some 7,000 strong -- take great pride in their alma mater. Every year, hundreds of them are involved in activities that directly benefit students and the wider Arizona Law community. They return to the college for social events, stay connected with the intellectual life of the college, and respond when we call on them for help.
They answer our call because they value the education they received, and because they enjoyed being part of our close and collegial community. Almost every graduate can recount a favorite Arizona Law moment with enthusiasm and pride.
Though many of our alumni remain in Arizona or the Southwest, many others are establishing a growing presence in cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, New York, Las Vegas, and Washington, DC. With the growth of our international programs, loyal Arizona Law grads work on six continents and in more than 25 countries.
Alumni assist students and new graduates in finding employment, mentor alumni who are new to the area, and welcome contact from students and recent graduates.
They also assist the college in moving forward institutionally. The Law College Association (LCA) is a non-profit organization that functions as an alumni association as well as a fundraising organization for Arizona Law. Over its long history, the LCA has been a strong supporter of student-centered initiatives such as increasing scholarship dollars and strengthening program resources, as well as funding events that encourage alumni engagement.
