As an LLM student, there is no guarantee that you will be eligible for or will pass the bar examination in any state. The LLM program is not intended to prepare you for that examination.
Some states allow foreign lawyers and/or foreign lawyers with U.S. LL.M. degrees to take the bar exam, most notably California and New York.
Applicants who intend to practice law should be aware that bar admission in all U.S. states involves consideration of a bar applicant's character and moral fitness for the practice of law. Applicants should acquaint themselves with the bar admission requirements of the states in which they intend to practice. The American Bar Association offers various resources on bar admission.
You are responsible for verifying bar exam eligibility requirements and to meet the deadlines for the state bar you intend to apply for. We do not provide bar exam preparation, but there are numerous resources you can use.
