PCLP Hosts Public Defender Joel Feinman

This Wednesday, January 24th, PCLP is proud to host Joel Feinman, who will give a presentation titled, “The Banality of Evil: Practicing Criminal Law in the 21st Century."


Joel Feinman graduated from Northwestern University in 2000, and from the U. of A. Graduate College and College of Law in 2007. That same year he joined the Pima County Public Defender’s Office as a trial lawyer, where he worked until 2015. Joel ran for the Democratic nomination for Pima County Attorney in 2016, then rejoined the Pima County Public Defender as head of the office in 2017. Please join us for his talk. As always, pizza will be served at noon.

Join Rebecca Tsosie, Regents' Professor of Law; Faculty Co-Chair, Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program; Special Advisor to the Provost for Diversity and Inclusion, for a lecture on comparative law. Professor Tsosie will address what issues in Indigenous rights are common across international jurisdictions and where divergences in rights emerge.
