Join us for a panel on Thursday, February 8, from 12:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Patrick O’Brien, general counsel for Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals. Dr. O’Brien is an alumnus of both the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy and James E. Rogers College of Law. With over 24 years of pharmaceutical regulatory experience, Dr. O’Brien will share his unique perspective on FDA regulatory approaches to drug labeling and off-label drug use from an industry perspective. Law and Literature

The law school community is invited to join five Law and Literature discussions over tea and cookies, hosted by Honors College lecturer Jamie Cox Robertson, and featuring five law school faculty. Each discussion will focus on legal themes from a great piece of literature, including the death penalty, discrimination, reproduction, and privacy rights.

Discussions are 2:00-3:15 in room 160 on the following dates: January 23, February 8, February 20, April 5 and April 17.

February 8 features Derek Bambauer and "1984" by George Orwell.
