Graduate Students

18th Global Conference on Environmental Taxation

The Global Conference on Environmental Taxation (GCET) has welcomed and encouraged submissions of abstracts for presentations from graduate students around the globe every year since its inception in 2000. Participants in recent years have included students from Australia, Belgium, France, Mexico, and the United States.

This year we hope to foster a more expansive and engaging pool of participants. We believe the graduate students of today are the forerunners to tomorrow’s great leaders, practitioners, and academics.

This year the graduate student presentations will serve as the commencement for GCET 18. Beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27, graduate presentations will be broken into two sessions, each lasting approximately an hour and a half complemented by a tea and coffee break between sessions and concluding prior to the GCET 18 Welcome Reception.

This year’s GCET‘s theme is Innovation Addressing Climate Change Challenges: Local and Global Perspectives. Any interested student should submit an abstract via the GCET 18 submission page. The deadline for submitting an abstract is Aug. 15.

We look forward to seeing you all here in Tucson at the end of September.

If you have any questions or need for help with registration or submissions, please feel free to contact Professor Mona Hymel or Program Coordinator Corrina Eklund at law-gcet18@list.arizona.edu
