Arizona Law Students

Arizona Law students typically secure judicial clerkships or externships in numbers far above national averages.

Internships & Externships

Externships are structured, credit-bearing placements in Tucson, Phoenix, and across the country. We are constantly growing the externship program to meet our students' needs.

Our Judicial Clerking Externship Program, administered by the Career Development Office, is known as one of the strongest in the country, with more than fifty judges in state and federal positions participating. Students have recently worked in chambers at the U.S, District Courts in Tucson and Phoenix, the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, the Arizona Court of Appeals, and Superior Courts in several Arizona counties.
