Lori Carson is a Fellow at the Daniel F. Cracchiolo Law Library at the James E. Rogers College of Law pursuing a Masters of Arts in Library and Information Science. Prior to matriculating to the University of Arizona, Ms. Carson attended Concordia Law School, obtaining her Juris Doctor degree in May in 2018. While in law school, Ms. Carson performed legal research for Idaho Legal Aid, a pro-bono legal service provider, and expanded Concordia Law’s legal outreach by developing a program to offer free legal services to low-income senior citizens in the community. Ms. Carson also participated in Concordia Law’s Immigration Clinic where she assisted low-income applicants with their asylum claims, and later used those skills in an immigration externship. During her final year of law school, Ms. Carson was selected as a judicial extern to the Fourth Judicial District Court of Idaho in Ada County, Idaho, where she assisted with research, writing, and case management.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Carson worked as a paralegal, political advisor/campaign manager, raised her family, and was heavily involved in volunteer activities within her community.
