Marnie Parris-Bingle is a program coordinator with the College of Law, providing administrative, academic, and logistical support for the B.A. in Law, Masters of Legal Studies, and Master of Laws Programs. Her primary responsibility will be to serve the needs of the students, faculty, and administrators with the current and growing Micro campus collaborations with overseas partner universities.

Marnie received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in management and psychology from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. She then pursued a career in human resources for a healthcare organization and a large furniture manufacturer in West Michigan, as well as the sole proprietor of her own restaurant/popcorn shop. Marnie began her work in higher education for Hope College in Holland, Michigan, in development managing fundraising efforts for The Hope Fund and her passion for higher education took off. This lead to the pursuit of a masters in Adult and Higher Education with an emphasis in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University (GVSU), Allendale, Michigan, where she was also graduate assistant in transfer advising. After graduation she was hired on at GVSU and began work with a grant program funded through the Department of Education, TRiO Student Support Services, working with first-generation, limited income students. During her tenure with TRiO, Marnie was also co-P.I. for a $375,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services for programming for Foster-Orphan students at GVSU. She was also an adjunct professor for the Health Sciences and Career Exploration courses.

Since moving to Tucson, Marnie has worked as a contract Recruitment and Retention Specialist for the Department of Physiology at UA and also for the UA Foundation as a Prospect Research Analyst. She is delighted to have found a home with the James E. Rogers College of Law and hopes to make a solid contribution to the college for many years to come.
