Mary Lou Castillo

Library Specialist

Mary Lou joined the Cracchiolo Law Library in April 2008. Mary Lou is a Graduate of Boston University's Genealogy Essential Course. She is pursuing a Genealogical Research Certificate. She is also pursuing the University of Arizona Legal Investigation Certificate.

Mary Lou worked at the University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences and was instrumental in the organization of the Fred Hopf Library. She also worked 13 years as a Manager for AT&T/Bell System overseeing Operator Services. Mary Lou worked 19 years at the Tucson/Pima Public Library System, at many library locations, in technical services with a focus on the establishment of the computer only Santa Rosa Library.

Mary Lou volunteers her research skills providing services to people in pursuit of their biological parents. As a multi-racial person her interest is connecting people, of all races and ethnicities, of the present to the past.
