We keep our tuition as affordable as possible so that you can focus more on your education and career. In fact, our MLS Online tuition is less than half the average MLS tuition at other top-50 law schools. And additional fees are a fraction of what students are required to pay at most other schools.

- On campus: $26,010, prorated at $867 per unit (excluding Mandatory University fees).*
- Online: $21,000, prorated at $700 per unit (excluding Mandatory University fees).*
Mandatory university fees are variable based on number of units enrolled.
Tuition assumes a full-time, 15 credit course-load per semester. Students may also pursue their degree part-time. Part-time students enroll in at least 5 credits per semester. A student enrolled in one 3 credit course every 7.5 week session is considered part-time.

Your Master of Legal Studies degree opens the door to a wide variety of careers.
University of Arizona Law MLS graduates have secured positions in insurance, employee benefits, procurement, contracts administration, compliance, business analysis, public policy, law enforcement, law office support services and in a wide variety of other fields. Students have obtained positions with governmental agencies, business organizations, social service providers, educational institutions, non-profits and international NGOs.

Deadlines
- Applications for Fall admission are due Aug. 1 (June 1 for international applicants).
- Applications for Spring admission are due Dec.15 (Oct. 22 for international applicants).
- Applications for Summer* admission are due May 1.

- Personal statement of 1-3 pages summarizing your qualifications for and interest in the program, along with career objective
- Unofficial academic transcripts (Official Transcripts required if admitted)*
- One academic or professional Letter of Recommendation is required, additional letters are optional. Please address letters to "MLS Admissions Committee."

- Accelerated Master’s Program applicants must be currently enrolled in the BA in Law or Cyber Operations: Cyber Law and Policy Emphasis degree at the University of Arizona.

English Requirements
- For applicants who do not hold a degree from an English-speaking country, TOEFL iBT® (minimum score of 79 iBT or 550 PBT) or IETLS (minimum composite score of 6.5, with no subject area below) or a 110 CEPT
- The admissions committee reserves the right to request additional information, such as a personal interview or independent confirmation of prior degrees, depending on individual considerations.
You may pursue a general MLS degree, concentrate in a specific area through a specialized program, or pursue self-designed curriculum in their area of interest.
The MLS is available online and on campus, with most core classes offered in the evenings to accommodate working professionals.
Full-Time or Part-Time
You may pursue the MLS on a full-time or part-time basis. Whether you opt for the full-time or part-time program, you can begin your studies in the fall or spring.
Full-Time Program
Full-time students will complete their degree requirements in two consecutive semesters in one academic year. Full-time course work typically includes completing 15–17 units a semester.
Part-Time Program
The part-time MLS program accommodates working professionals who cannot complete their degree requirements in one academic year. Part-time MLS students must complete their degree requirements within four years of enrolling in the program.
