Program in Criminal Law and Policy (PCLP) Speaker Series

PCLP and the Family and Juvenile Law Association are excited to hear Professor Negar Katirai present her paper and research on the retraumatization that victims face in family courts. Her paper lays the groundwork for immediate strategies that lawyers can use to improve the experience of intimate partner violence survivors in the family court system. This paper is pending publication by the Arizona Law Review. Professor Katirai supervises law students as the Director of the Domestic Violence Law Clinic, and she teaches Family Law and a Domestic Violence Seminar.
