At the direction of Ryan's top aide, Juliano and others participated in criminal wrongdoing associated with those campaigns, including while Juliano was a third-year law student at the University of Chicago. Years later, Juliano cooperated and plead guilty to a felony in a federal political corruption investigation, which ultimately led to his disbarment. With former federal prosecutor Hank Shea serving as moderator, Richard Juliano will describe the path that led to his misconduct, its consequences, and the lessons to be learned for everyone.
