Learn about a new law school program designed to enhance your skills, network, and become involved in important policy conversations. The Participatory Democracy Credential offers an opportunity for law and other graduate students interested in public policy and public service to learn the law of state and local governments; the ‘ins and outs’ of successful campaigns for candidates or initiatives; and the skills necessary for effective policymaking, With other graduate students from the School of Journalism and Government and Public Policy (SGPP), your cohort will learn from veteran and future community leaders firsthand about a future in public service at either the career or elected level. Former Tucson Mayor and Professor of Practice Jonathan Rothschild leads the Participatory Democracy Initiative and will answer questions about the Credential.
