Andrea Fenster is a Staff Attorney and Tiana Herring is a Research Associate at the Prison Policy Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to exposing the broader harms of mass criminalization. They will discuss critical issues in criminal legal reform and present data to contextualize mass incarceration in Arizona with the rest of the U.S. and other countries. They will review a variety of topics including prison gerrymandering, prison conditions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and pretrial bail reform.
