How to Write a Closing Argument

Join Director of Advocacy Professor Bergman and three-time Jenckes champion from UA Law Clarissa Todd to learn about the fundamentals of writing a closing argument, the law school’s advocacy program, and the upcoming Jenckes Closing Argument Competition. This decades-old competition features internal preliminary (”tryout”) and final rounds, culminating in a showdown between the UA’s two champions and ASU. Come sharpen your oral advocacy skills, regardless of whether you decide to compete or not. All current JD, AJD, SJD, MLS, & LLM students are welcome to attend and compete!
