Join the National Lawyers Guild of Southern Arizona and UA for a Legal Observer training for students and community members. This training prepares observers to monitor and document law enforcement conduct at protests and peaceful demonstrations, acting as independent witnesses to protect constitutional rights, deter misconduct, and provide crucial evidence for later legal defense. NLG lawyers will educate attendees on documenting police interactions, arrests, use of force, and ensuring demonstrators understand their rights within a larger legal support system. Community organizations from Tucson will be represented and food will be provided!
