Researching in Context: The Philippines
Description: Context allows us to understand the connections and frameworks between legal systems and societal trends and the worlds they operate in. Without fully grasping the context, researchers can't do their work in efficient and meaningful ways. In this series, speakers will discuss their own experiences on how the current trends and developments in these countries shape research on law and society. This event is based on the lessons learned when conducting comparative and international legal research in LAW689C, and as a way for students to bridge the classroom with the reality and context on the ground.
