Career Development Office COVID-19 Mitigation Policy

March 12, 2020

Dear students,

In light of the University's guidance encouraging classes to be moved online, the Career Development Office will be conducting all career advising meetings remotely beginning Monday, March 16 until further notice. Please schedule all appointments using CareerCAT, and send a follow up email to your career advisor indicating whether you would like the meeting to be (1) telephonic, or (2) via Zoom. The counselor will then follow up with either a Zoom meeting invitation or a phone number where they can be reached.

All advisors will continue to be available via email during normal CDO operating hours (8:30-5:00, M-F). If you need an immediate response to an inquiry, you should email law-careers@arizona.edu, as emails to this address go to the whole CDO team. If you would like a same-day counseling session, please email your advisor to see if they have time available to speak that day. CDO advisor email addresses and phone numbers can be found at this link.

We are also suspending all in-person on-campus interviews through April 15. Employers are being encouraged to interview remotely when possible, but some may continue to request in-person interviews at their office or chambers. As of right now, we are still planning on conducting our Fall Interview Programs in-person, and we will let you know if that changes.

Thank you very much for your patience as we navigate these issues. Please feel free to reach out to me or your career advisor with any additional questions.

Best,
ST

Assistant Dean for Career Development
