Professor Edward B. Foley to Discuss Trump’s Eligibility for Reelection
The William H. Rehnquist Center on the Constitutional Structures of Government will host a special lecture delivered by Edward B. Foley, the Ebersold Chair in Constitutional Law, and director of the election law program at Ohio State University, on February 5.
Foley will discuss “Trump's Eligibility for Reelection: What Will the Supreme Court Decide?” in conversation with Director of the Rehnquist Center and Professor of Law Andrew Coan.
When: Monday, February 5, 2024, from 12:15 – 1:15 PM MST
Where: The University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, 1201 E. Speedway Blvd., Room 164 and online through Zoom
Who may attend: The lecture is free and open to the public.

About Edward B. Foley
Edward B. Foley is the Charles W. Ebersold and Florence Whitcomb Ebersold Chair in Constitutional Law and director of the election law program at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He is a current Guggenheim Fellow and, for the Spring 2024 term, a Distinguished Visitor at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law.
Among his many publications is "Presidential Elections and Majority Rule" (2020), which explores the long-forgotten philosophical premises underlying the post-Twelfth Amendment Electoral College. The second edition of his seminal book, "Ballot Battles: The History of Disputed Elections in the United States," will be released in spring 2024.
