Matt Bingham

Part-time Professor of Law

Matt Bingham is the owner of MGB Law, PLLC in Tucson, AZ.  MGB Law assists clients with complex permitting and natural resource issues.

Prior to starting MGB Law, Matt spent 10 years as the Executive Director of Land & Public Affairs for Hudbay Minerals’ U.S. Business Unit, based in Tucson.  In this role, he was responsible for the legal, environmental, land and public affairs matters for Hudbay’s Copper World Project in Arizona and the Mason Project in Lyon County, Nevada.  He was previously an attorney with Lewis and Roca (now Womble Bond Dickinson) in Phoenix working on a wide range of regulatory and natural resource matters.

Matt earned an associates degree in physics from Eastern Arizona College, a Civil Engineering degree from Arizona State University, and a law degree from Columbia Law School.

Matt enjoys riding bikes and playing sports with his two young sons and anything else that keeps them entertained for a few hours.
