Athanasios Mihalakas

Global Professor of Practice, Law

Athanasios (Nasos) Mihalakas is a Professor of Practice (Global Law) at the University of Arizona, where he teaches in the OUC-UA legal program. Nasos teaches both US common law courses like Legal Research & Writing, Procedures, and Public Law, as well international law courses like International Trade Law and International Environmental Law. He received his LLM from the University College London, and his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.  Nasos worked for 10 years in Washington DC as a trade policy analyst and taught International Business-related courses for another 10 years, before joining the UA College of Law faculty.  He is also the Director of the Center for Federalism & Regional Integration (CEFARI), a volunteer collaborative academic research center of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER), that organizes conferences and advances cooperative research among academics from around the world.
