People who have criminal convictions face a number of obstacles. Many offenders feel they have a lifetime sentence because of the barriers they have to endure. However, re-entry has finally become an issue within the criminal justice system. There are statutory provisions that can help people better deal with their convictions. Professor Silverman’s talk will explore the barriers offenders face and the statutes they can take advantage of. This event is co-sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild Arizona Law Student Chapter.
