Shannon Walker
Shannon Walker is the Director of Development for the James E. Rogers College of Law, where she oversees alumni engagement, donor relations, and philanthropic initiatives to support the College’s mission. Shannon leads major gift fundraising efforts, manages strategic alumni and development programs, and collaborates with College and University leadership to advance College priorities. She also directs events and initiatives that foster meaningful connections with alumni, donors, and the broader law community.
In her eight years at the College of Law, Shannon held numerous leadership roles focused on strategic initiatives and relationship building. As Director of Special Projects, she managed high-level communications and projects on behalf of the dean and worked with alumni, donors, and stakeholders. Prior to that, Shannon held multiple roles in the Career Development Office where she led critical programs, partnered with alumni and donor employers, and organized events connecting students with alumni and legal professionals. Throughout her time at the College, Shannon has cultivated strong partnerships within the Arizona legal community, supporting career development, networking opportunities, and alumni engagement.
Shannon is a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona with dual bachelor's degrees in psychology and sociology in 2013. She earned a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University in 2021 and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education at the University of Arizona
