What is a simulation?

Hands-on learning can come in many different forms. You are likely most familiar with internships which is a common form of hands-on learning you will encounter in your education. At the College of Law, we also offer simulation courses that allow you to work within a fact pattern that has been created to expose you to specific issues commonly encountered in a practice area. Students take on the role of Legal Paraprofessional and assist a fictional client as they advocate on their behalf both through written documents and recorded court appearances.

  • Asynchronous

  • Pre-requisites and instructor approval required to enroll

  • Qualifies as Experiential Learning for LP licensure purposes for the practice area the course is focused on

  • Courses listed below may not be available every semester
