Phoenix Externship Program

Now placing Phoenix-area externs for January-April 2022 

Host a 2L or 3L student extern through the new Arizona Law Phoenix Externship Program and get: 

  • Access to talented University of Arizona Law students who are studying in Phoenix for the spring semester (Jan. 16-May 5) 

  • Customized placements that match your organization’s needs with an extern’s interest and experience  

  • Support from University of Arizona Law to ensure an optimal externship experience 

Corporate, law firm, government, and public interest externship hosts are welcome to participate. 

Program Details 

  • Students will extern in your office Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week throughout the spring semester. 

  • On Wednesdays and Fridays, students will take small-group classes in Phoenix with University of Arizona Law faculty. They may also enroll in online classes, law review, a journal, or a substantial paper. 

  • These highly engaged students will also participate in regularly scheduled professional development, social and networking opportunities with University of Arizona Law alumni and other members of the Phoenix legal community.
