The Arizona Law COVID Task Force is responsible for implementing the New Safe Return Plan that was developed by the college's New Safe Return Committee. The task force is comprised of an implementation team, charged with supporting students, faculty and staff and executing the plan successfully, and a testing and research team that will oversee the voluntary testing and research study being conducted by the college.
The task force will continue to develop additional guidance and support measures as the plan evolves and campus and public health circumstances change.

New Safe Return Committee
University of Arizona Law's New Safe Return Committee was formed in May by Dean Marc Miller to prepare a college plan to ensure a safe return to campus. The ultimate goals of the plan are the health and safety of the community while delivering a high-quality education.

The committee consulted colleagues from around the college to provide information and expertise as needed. Working Groups intensely focused on discrete areas of planning. Many other members of the College of Law contributed to the Committee's work in less formal but equally important ways. All College of Law faculty, staff, and students helped shaped the Committee's work and Plan through the hundreds of suggestions, comments, and ideas received through the virtual suggestion boxes, town halls, and many hours of conversation.
