National Constitution Day Event: SCOTUS and POTUS Developments in Executive Power

The Arizona Law ACS Student Chapter and the Tucson Lawyer ACS Chapter present a National Constitution Day event, “SCOTUS and POTUS: Developments in Executive Power, October Term 2024 SCOTUS Review,” on September 17.
This year’s American Constitution Society SCOTUS Term in Review will focus on major developments regarding assertion of federal executive power during the second Trump administration so far, as well as an overview of judicial responses to these developments.
The distinguished panel will include Judge Andrew Hurwitz of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals along with College of Law Professors Eunice Lee and Shalev Roisman. Dean Emerita Toni Massaro will moderate.
The event is being held in conjunction with the nationwide commemoration of the Sept. 17 signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.
When: Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, 3:30–5:15 PM MST
Where: University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, 1201 E. Speedway Blvd., Room 168 and via Zoom (Zoom link sent one day prior to the event). Note: this event will not be recorded
