Amanda M. Stevens
Amanda M. Stevens serves as the Assistant Dean of Finance and leads business operations for the James E. Rogers College of Law. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education financial and operational management, she brings a strategic, collaborative, and data-informed approach to resource planning, budgeting, and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Arizona Law, she served as Assistant Director of Operations and Treasurer for the Arizona Experiment Station within the Division of Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences. In addition to direct financial oversight of the federal funds associated with the University of Arizona’s land-grant mission, she managed complex budgets, led federal audit and compliance efforts, and developed multi-year financial strategies across administrative units. Her former roles in the School of Plant Sciences and the College of Optical Sciences reflect a career-long commitment to advancing mission-driven financial stewardship and innovation.
As a University of Arizona alumna, Stevens holds dual master’s degrees in Accounting and Public Administration. She is a founding member of Arizona’s Science, Engineering, and Math Scholars (ASEMS) program, an Academic Leadership Institute fellow and mentor, an active contributor to university-wide modernization initiatives, a proponent of shared governance, and a recipient of multiple awards recognizing her leadership in equity, service, and operational excellence.
