Gabriela Elizondo-Craig
Gabriela Elizondo-Craig was previously the Post-Graduate Fellow at Innovation for Justice (i4J), and now a part-time Professor of Practice for the College of Law. Gabriela holds a B.S., Public Health, summa cum laude, and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona. Gabriela’s interest is in the intersection between the law and public health. In particular, she is interested in the ways in which interdisciplinary research can be used to improve the law and access to justice to have positive impacts on human health. At i4J, Gabriela had been involved in the lab’s research regarding medical debt, ranging from legal empowerment for people experiencing medical debt by developing a new kind of legal services provider to developing a medical debt policy scorecard.
