Justin Ye Zhu

Professor of Practice

Professor Justin Ye Zhu teaches International Commercial Transactions and International Trade Law and Policy as a Professor of Practice. He is an experienced lawyer with over 15 years of practice, admitted to both Mainland China and New York State. He currently works at Duan & Duan LLP as a partner focusing on international business transactions and cross-border dispute resolution. Prior to that, Professor Zhu was the Assistant General Counsel of Nike focusing on marketing, e-commerce, and sports sponsorship. He is also an arbitrator of Shanghai Arbitration Commission. 

Professor Zhu, as a native from Chinese Shandong Province, had worked in many different places including the U.S., UK, Hague of Netherlands and China. His long-term legal practices primarily focus on international business, international dispute resolutions, competition law compliance, and sports business. 

Professor Zhu holds a J.D. degree from University of Arizona College of Law,  two LL.M. degrees from Free University of Amsterdam (International Commercial & Trade Law) and University of Southern California, and an LL.B. degree from Shandong University.
