Suzanne Abrahamson
Suzanne received her Master of Legal Studies degree with a focus on Compliance and Risk Management from the University of Arizona’s James E. Rogers College of Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University in Public Health. Suzanne is an Arizona native with deep roots in the northern part of the state but has also lived in Central Arizona and relocated to the Tucson area in 2018. Her lifetime of experience living in various parts of the state has given Suzanne a unique perspective and has provided considerable knowledge of the social justice issues affecting Arizona’s communities. She is passionate about the need for policy iteration to better address the needs of low-income community members. Her highlighted legal interests include support for survivors of domestic abuse and innovative solutions to the mental health crisis in the U.S. As i4J’s operations lead, Suzanne oversees the operations of the lab and supports the team in coordination with stakeholders, student recruitment, and community engagement.
