Tuition and Costs

University of Arizona Law is one of the most affordable top-tier law schools in the country.

Our non-resident JD tuition is significantly less expensive than most public law schools’ in-state tuition and is vastly less expensive than most private schools. In fact, we were the first law school in the country to significantly reduce tuition. A smaller debt burden means you have the freedom to choose where to start your legal career after you graduate.

Arizona Law is committed to excellence and access in legal education. We strive to provide our students a legal education of the highest quality at competitive tuition rates for residents and nonresidents. We also offer a generous JD scholarship program and numerous options for financial aid. Admitted students are considered for merit and need-based awards as part of the admissions process; no separate application is necessary.

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is the university’s estimate of your academic-year expenses. It includes charges billed directly to you (tuition and fees), as well as an estimated budget of indirect expenses (room/board, books and supplies, travel, miscellaneous, and loan fees). Although you may be awarded financial aid up to the cost of attendance, you may choose to borrow less.
