2026 Constitution Day Event on September 14: SCOTUS and POTUS Developments in Executive Power
The American Constitution Society presents a National Constitution Day event, “SCOTUS and POTUS: Developments in Executive Power, on Monday, September 14. This year’s SCOTUS Term in Review will focus on developments in assertion of federal executive power during the second Trump administration so far, as well as an overview of judicial responses to these developments.
The distinguished panel will include Judge Andrew Hurwitz of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals along with Associate Dean for Research Shalev Roisman. Dean Emerita Toni Massaro will moderate.
The event is being held in conjunction with the nationwide commemoration of the Sept. 17 signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787.
When: Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, 3:30- 5:15 PM MST
Where: University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, 1201 E. Speedway Blvd., Room 168 and via Zoom.
Who May Attend: The event is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended, as space is limited.
