“Dr. Walker is not an ivory tower intellectual but rather an innovative researcher who is willing to tackle some of society’s most challenging problems with the tools of quantitative and qualitative social science,” noted Barbara Atwood.

In recognition of the significant financial support and contributions to Indigenous human rights advocacy made by Galanda Broadman PLLC, the law school has dedicated the Galanda Broadman room in the firm’s honor.

Her time in the Health Law Certificate program opened her mind to new opportunities to make an impact within healthcare. With newly acquired legal skills, Jackson is ready to move beyond her successful nursing career and work with her healthcare company’s legal department helping both patients and providers navigate the complex system of regulations that make up U.S. healthcare. 

The initiative will fund the renovation of student courtrooms and support student experiential learning.

Provost Award recipient Karen Jacquez is graduating summa cum laude with a BA in Law degree. Following graduation, she will attend the University of Arizona Law, with plans to practice family law.

“I will miss the people. Arizona Law as I have come to know it, is a big, united family where everyone is looking out for one another,” says Wisdom Nash Kwame Adjei. “I am proud of being part of a system like that and very grateful.”
